Poster Session
Posters featuring user applications are showcased on Thursday, February 17 during the evening social. If you are using computer-mapping technology in real-world applications, this is your chance to win the competition for the best poster. Entries are limited to North Carolina government agencies, academic institutions and non-profit organizations.

Vote for your favorite poster 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Thursday social. Go to the voting station near Booth 21 or go to the url, posted here later.
GISP CREDIT
The GIS Certification Institute offers both education and contribution points toward a GISP for attendance and other involvement in the NC GIS Conference.
- For initial GISP Certification, a conference poster is worth 1 contribution point. For renewal of your GISP, a conference poster is worth 3 contribution points.

Instuctions / Answers to FAQs
- The Poster Area is located in Ballroom B to the side of the Exhibit booths. See the layout on the Exhibitors page of this web site.
- Please bring your poster and your hanging supplies with you to the conference. Hanging supplies range from push-pins, Velcro tabs, tape to staplers. Poster Boards are 8 ft by 4 ft.
- The Poster Boards will be pre-numbered with your corresponding poster number, which will be provided to you by the Poster Committee.
- You have until Thursday 4:00 PM to hang up your poster. Please take down your poster by Friday 10:30 AM. We cannot be responsible for posters that are not removed.
- Poster voting starts Thursday at 4:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM. There will be voting stations near booth 21. Or you can vote from any Internet connection during these hours. Each attendee may vote once for thier top three picks. The online URL will be posted later.
- The winner and honorable mentions will be announced Friday during the Luncheon and prizes will be awarded.
